Energy Warwickshire Oil Syndicate Offer For New Members

Do you use oil for your home? As a Ryton-on-Dunsmore resident you can join the Energy Warwickshire Syndicate for oil and as of 1st April any new member can take advantage of ‘first order membership free’*
This means that any household or community building not currently in the syndicate will be able to try out the service without having to pay the annual membership fee until they place their second order.
Energy Warwickshire has seen a fantastic start to 2015 and managed to secure some great savings for members during January and February. Over 550 residents in Warwickshire are now part of the Energy Warwickshire syndicate saving considerable sums on their oil heating costs. The syndicate compiles one bulk order per month and searches the market to secure the lowest price possible for individual members.
Januarys’ member price was 33.98ppl saving 14.52ppl against the market high and Februarys’ member price was 33.35ppl saving 6.8ppl against the market high.
Jude Henderson Business Development Manager, WRCC says “Our members have benefited not only from the recent drop in oil prices, but also from the steep growth in our membership numbers meaning we are placing larger and larger orders month on month.  This has given the syndicate great strength in negotiating with suppliers to offer their best prices.”
Energy Warwickshire are now hoping to share this success more widely and want to recruit new members to the syndicate.
Kim Slater Chief Exec WRCC “On average Energy Warwickshire is saving households £56.12 per oil order so we are confident you’ll continue ordering once you’ve given it a try.”
Since its conception in October 2012 the Energy Warwickshire syndicate has ordered over 1.3million litres of heating oil saving members over £70,000.

Community Defibrillator and Heated Box

DefibrillatorCommunities around the UK are installing lifesaving Defibrillators and heated boxes for people to use in an emergency situation, these really are lifesaving tools to use.

  • Living in a village will take on average 5 to 10 minutes for a Community First Responder to reach you and administer lifesaving skills
  • Living in a village will take on average 8 to 12 minutes for a crewed Ambulance to reach you and administer lifesaving skills

Heart attacks in the United Kingdom claim 32,000 lives each year and that number is growing:

  • 17,254 are Men
  • 5,836 are Women

In Ryton we are fortunate to be covered by the Bubbenhall First Responders, dealing with life-threatening, emergency, medical calls within our community. They provide vital ‘first-person-on-scene’ assistance to people who are ill or injured prior to the arrival of the ambulance crew.
Heartstart Heated BoxPlease help us to save a life, by raising £2000 to get lifesaving equipment that will save a life.  It could be your family member or a friend that will need your help whilst waiting for the emergency services, you will make a difference. Please help us raise the money for our own life saving Defibrillator and heated box
