Top Turnout for Council Elections
Ryton-on-Dunsmore (Dunsmore ward) tops the turnout for the whole of the Rugby Borough Council elections, the local election itself being a very tightly contested battle, with the seat going to Deepah Roberts, Independent. The full results for the Dunsmore ward were:
- Deepah Roberts – Independent (1,289)
- Ian Spiers – Conservative (1,039)
- Kieren Richard George Brown – Labour (233)
- David Wolfskehl – Green Party Stop Fracking Now (124)

Here in Ryton-on-Dunsmore (Dunsmore ward) however we achieved the highest of all the 14 ward’s turnouts with 45.27%, so if you voted give yourself a clap on the back.
