A new bridge will be built across the a45 in Coventry over the course of one weekend as part of a project to ease congestion. The 75 metre bridge is set to be installed across a section of the a45 at the junction with the a46 to the north of Coventry airport on Saturday 7th March and Sunday 8th March.
There will be a temporary closure of the a45 in both directions between the Stivichall Interchange and Tollbar End Island, from 8pm on Friday 6th March until 5am on Monday March 9. Diversions will be in place but motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
As part of the Great British Spring Clean a community litter pick will be held on 29th March. Please meet at the pavilion on the recreation ground at 11am. Litter picks, Hi-viz jackets and bin liners will be provided. All help will be gratefully received. Tea and biscuits will be provided for all volunteers. You may have noticed extensive tree works over the weekend at the recreation ground. During November new trees will be planted to replace trees that have been removed. Village Annual Meeting (not the Annual meeting of the Parish Council)
24th April 2019 From 7.30pm in the Village Hall
The meeting is open to all residents of the Parish.
There will be a report from the Parish Council and other organisations from the village. Members of the Village are encouraged to come along and ask questions.
Deeley construction are holding an open event at the Village Hall on Monday 18th March from 4pm till 6.45pm. The aim of the event is to provide you with information and allow you to raise any queries with the team.
Ryton on Dunsmore Parish Council are looking for volunteer drivers to transport people to appointments at Wolston surgery on a Tuesday and Thursday. If you become a volunteer driver you will be reimbursed for the mileage you use at the rate of £2.40 per return trip (From Ryton to Wolston and return to Ryton).
