Mental Health support in Warwickshire

Winter can be an isolating and lonely time for a lot of people, and this year is particularly difficult, but you can help. To mark Time to Talk day, start a conversation with someone about their wellbeing, and you can make a big difference.

Anyone worried about someone that might be struggling with the demands of life or finding things particularly hard during the pandemic, and not sure how to approach a conversation can get help via the Dear Life website.

Vaccine Scams

The following has been to us from Warwickshire Police:

“Nationally there have been reports of individuals targeting the elderly and administering fake vaccinations for a fee.

Regionally/Nationally we are also seeing fake emails being sent to the vulnerable and elderly purporting to be the NHS and asking them to click on a link to obtain vaccines.

They are then usually asked to provide a payment or bank details.

The NHS will never ask for payment or bank details from patients and I do believe the NHS send letters out for patients to book appointments for tests”.
