4th April 2020, with a sad heart I am told some visitors in cars came to Ryton village to hold a picnic. They have pulled all the orange plastic off the children’s play area. Total disregard for our village children’s health and well being. This virus lives on hard surfaces 73hours!!!
The Councillors have repaired the fences each time they have been torn down.
The incident of people gathering has also been reported to the Police after trying to ask them to leave.
